Dress it Up
Angela Wolf, couture expert, teaches techniques for working with silk dupioni to create an elegant party look. Next is an exciting new feature with editor Eileen Roche, clothing tattoos—machine embroidery for the contemporary sewer. The first clothing tattoo in the series is a vine motif on the sleeve of a t-shirt. Last, Gretchen Hirsch demonstrates how to add boning to a strapless dress. 


Peggy Sagers discusses fitting problems and how to fix them. Then, Angela Wolf has a lesson on altering a man’s shirt so it fits perfectly. Last is bra making basics with Stephani Miller. She will teach how to measure correctly and how to choose the essential materials.


Home Dec Accents
Donna Babylon opens the show with an appliquéd footstool. Then, learn how to replace a zipper on a fleece jacket with Angela Wolf. Last, Jacinda Boneau and Jaime Morrison Curtis show how to make miniature pin cushions.


Skirt Tutorial
This show has the experts demonstrating easy design and fit techniques for skirts. Gretchen Hirsch demonstrates how to add an exposed zipper to a pencil skirt. Then, Angela Wolf shows how to fix a broken zipper on skirts or pants. Last is a mom and me feature with Sheree Schattenmann and her daughter Leah. They create simple skirts for every age in fun fabrics.


Designer Look a Likes
This show has the experts sharing instructions for creating fashion apparel. Angela Wolf shows how to sew on fur including cutting, seaming, and constructing techniques. Next, Deana Tierney May shows how to create beautiful and simple lace top. She demonstrates how to draft the top, cut it out, and sew it. Then, Erin Miller – winner of the passion for fashion contest and a fashion design student at Kent State shows how to create stylish harem pants with minimal seaming. Last is a lesson on ruching from Angela Wolf.


Pam Hasting combines form and function for a barrel bag that can be made in various sizes. She even has tips for starting your own business and how to make custom trim. Then, Angela Wolf’s lesson is on fixing men’s waistbands to expand or contract. Last, Tammy O’Connell demonstrates how to choose and install hardware for your bags.


Deepika Prakash starts out with a lesson on everything you need to know for sewing successfully on knits. Then, Eileen Roche shows how to make another clothing tattoo – position a butterfly at the waist of a skinny T for a casual look. Last, designer Valori Wells shows how to deconstruct a favorite t shirt to make your own pattern that fits perfectly. 


Fit expert Peggy Sagers shows how to create an easy and quick pair of yoga pants. Then, embellish your favorite yoga pants with a clothing tattoo demonstrated by machine embroidery expert, Eileen Roche. Next, Sheree Schattenmann has a super simple design for lounge pants. Last Angela Wolf adds a waistband to jeans.


Quilt Techniques
Designer June Mellinger shows how to use embroidery machines to quilt. Next, Angela Wolf teaches how to add darts to a shirt. Last, Eileen Roche demonstrates raw edge appliqué.


Fashion Upgrades
Angela Wolf starts out with adding embellishments to finished jackets to create an original design.  Then, Annie O’Connor uses flat pattern design methods to show how to combine and relocate darts for one of a kind design. Last, Pam Hastings introduces the perfect dress for an active lifestyle. She shows how changing the pattern--adding and subtracting sleeves, collars and more can make a totally new look.


Signature Style
Lisa Shepard Stewart shares her love of hand-woven fabrics. She shows how they require special consideration and techniques to utilize them professionally. Next, Eileen Roche has a clothing tattoo for a man’s dress shirt. Then, Project Runway designer Valerie Mayen demonstrates her signature style with a zippered tank top. Last, Angela Wolf has a sewing lesson on fringe.


The first expert is Valori Wells teaching the professional way to create a pillow with a flange in just about any fabric. Then, Eileen Roche’s clothing tattoo is a sports design and team number for the back neckline. Last, Donna Babylon creates a free motion stitched pillow that’s a perfect practice piece for free motion and a great way to let thread add texture and color.


Sewing as Business
Couture expert Angela Wolf demonstrates her main passion, making custom jeans. Then June Mellinger shares some ideas for starting your own sewing business. Last, Janet Pray creates a denim clutch—a project she has used to teach sewing nationwide.
