1801 It's Cold Outside

The show begins with “its cold outside” and the introduction of the versatile trench coat raincoat Sew Along with Angela Wolf. We’ll explore the pattern, sizing and fabric on lesson one. Then meet Joanne Banko for another transitional garment and a quilted vest that features couching.  It will take you from fall to spring and everything in between.

1802  Spring is in the Air

Spring is in the air with the perfect garments to add a little sunshine to your day. Sarah Gunn is first with a scalloped skirt. Then it’s lesson two with Angela Wolf, and adding the back flap to the bottom of the trench coat. The show closes with a cute and easy bunny bag for your favorite little child. Sew it up in a few minutes as an Easter bag to hold those colored eggs.

1803 Beach Babies

Our experts will show you how to be an original in a one of kind swimsuit. Emily Thompson begins with a great way to bind toddler swim suits. Next Joanne Banko shares unique swimsuit trim ideas to jazz up your swimwear. Then, cosplay expert Cheryl Sleboda has a mermaid tail for dress up or just plain beach fun. Last is a quick Sew Along lesson from Angela Wolf and adding the princess seams to our raincoat.

Every wardrobe needs that versatile garment that can take you through the seasons with slight changes or additions.  Lindsey Marsh starts with making a wardrobe to flatter and fit your unique shape by creating a muslin and how to choose the pattern and grade between sizes. Then Rebecca Kemp Brent shows how to transform your wardrobe with embroidered pendants and fabric beads.

1805 Warm Up

Sometimes you need a little extra warmth; that’s where fashionable sweaters and sweatshirts can be that add on topper. The show opens with blogger, Emily Thompson and her amazing sweater transformation using a serger. Then Cheryl Sleboda transforms any solid color sweatshirt into your favorite animal - from baby to adult sizes.  The show closes with Angela Wolf and the next Sew Along lesson of the trench coat - adding patch pockets.

1806 Embroidery

Whatever the weather, unique embroidery will make your garments memorable. Sarah Gunn opens the show with a cover-up that features beautiful embroidered monograms and pom pom trim for a fun look.   Then it’s time to add the collar to the trench coat with Angela Wolf. Last is Ellen March with hoop hints to make your embroidery more successful.

1807 Resort Wear

Travel requires that perfect combination of being ready for any weather or occasion with a minimum of pieces.  Join Joanne Banko for the perfect capsule wardrobe for resort wear, or just about any location.  Tops, skirts and pants all coordinate for easy packing and wearing. Then Reen Wilcoxson has an “in the hoop” design – a beautiful cork tote bag that is lightweight and fashionable for your travels.

1808 Here Comes the Sun

This show features the perfect warm weather accessories. First is Emily Thompson demonstrating an accessory that does double duty as a beach towel and large tote to carry all of your swimming necessities. Then Rebecca Kemp Brent creates accessory bags that go from flat to fabulous with boxing. The show closes with the next step in the trench coat Sew Along with Angela Wolf - adding the signature back flap or yoke for a professional look.

1809 Cuddle Up

There’s a slight chill in the air and it’s time to cuddle up with cozy fabrics. Joanne Banko is first with a cozy, comfy baby blanket and her tried and true method for making satin binding. Then, make the perfect hooded cape with Emily Thompson; in fleece or terry it’s great to warm up in the evening or after the pool.  Finally, it’s time to add the sleeves to the raincoat with Angela Wolf.

1810 Season Transitions

We all need those versatile garments that can take us through any weather with slight changes. Lindsey Marsh has the perfect blazer for any season depending on your fabric choice and features her ‘burrito” seams for a perfectly and professionally finished look.  Then Mary Roediger introduces the use of wool appliques to add a decorative look to garments. Last is Angela Wolf and sewing the belt, and loops for the sleeve with the same technique and fun fabric.

1811 Spring Spruce Up

Every spring, we all feel that sense of rebirth that often results in spring cleaning and in our case, spring spruce up in our closet. Take that basic jean jacket and add some pizzazz with Joanne Banko and three techniques for embroidery. Then meet Ellen Miller as she provides the formula for adding flounces to the front of your favorite tank or top for a fashion look.

1812 Seasonal Upcycle

Create your own upcycle wardrobe. The show opens with Angela Wolf and adding the finishing details to the trench coat: top stitching and hem. Then it’s time to upcycle ties with your T’s for a brand-new look with Londa Rohlfing. Honor memories and recycle too.

1813 Lace Details

Whether it’s a trip to the store or across the country; create great travel accessories. Nicole Neales   starts with a fashionable and durable cork wallet that’s so easy to make. Then make gift or luggage tags using fabric scraps with Emily Thompson. Finally, it’s time to finish up the trench coat with Angela Wolf. All you need to do is add the buttons and button holes and you’re ready to head outside in your new versatile raincoat.
